Mount Cain

Where to Stay

Camping in the snow at Mount Cain is entirely free of charge and encouraged! We'll have an area for tenters and snowcavers to go setup.

For those of you with campers, camperized vehicles, or cars that you like to sleep in, it's acceptable and pretty standard practice to camp in the parking lot right beside the lodge. It's pretty normal to see a line up of campers and other vehicles at Cain, so you'll fit right in.

There are on hill accommodations in the form of a few cabins and two hostels. They will book up fast, so if you don't want to camp or sleep in your van, we recommend booking early or checking out accommodation options in Woss or Port McNeil, as they are both pretty short drives to the hill. Campbell river has a lot of options too, but is quite a bit further!

To book at Mount Cain, do so via the accommodations page on their website.

For those staying off-hill, there is a shuttle bus that will get you up from the highway in the morning (leaves at 8:30) - there is also a bus running from Port Hardy -> Port McNeill -> Woss -> Mt. Cain. The Mt. Cain website has more information on the busses

Our gear raffle will include products and services from all of these fantastic companies:
